Privacy Policy

1. Collection of personal data

Viewing live video streams and replays is free and requires no account creation or collection of personal data.

Only the Coaching tool requires an account. In that case, we collect: your name, your e-mail address and a password (stored hashed, never in plain text). This information is used solely to secure access to your coaching reports and is never sold or shared with third parties.

2. Coaching reports

If you use the Coaching tool, the reports you create (title, timestamped notes, video link, coach and athlete names) are saved on our servers and attached to your account. They are accessible only to you, are never shared publicly, and are permanently deleted if you delete your account from the My account page.

3. Cookies, local storage and session storage

To ensure smooth browsing and respect your privacy, we do not use any intrusive advertising tracker. The technologies used are:

• YouTube (Google): Videos are embedded via the YouTube platform. Google may set cookies necessary for the video player to work and for their own server audience measurement.
• Session cookie (member / admin account): a technical cookie, needed to stay logged in, secured (HttpOnly, Secure) and with no advertising use.
• LocalStorage — theme: the multimat_theme key remembers your light/dark display preference.
• LocalStorage — favourites: one key per event (multimat_favs_<event>) remembers the mats you have pinned.
• LocalStorage — cookie banner: remembers that you accepted the information banner, so it is not shown again on every visit.
• SessionStorage — coaching report in progress: acts as a local safety net while you work on a report, in addition to automatic saving on our servers.
• SessionStorage — pop-ups: remembers, for the duration of your browsing session, that a pop-up (announcement, sign-up prompt) has already been closed.
• Push notifications (optional): if you enable notifications, your browser sends us a subscription identifier and technical encryption keys (provided by your browser), used only to send you a notification signal. You can disable notifications at any time from the dedicated button.

4. Your rights

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify and delete your data. For a member account, deletion is immediate and self-service from My account (account + all associated coaching reports). For any other request, contact us at help@multimat.tv.

5. Consent

By using this site and accepting the initial information banner, you consent to the use of these technical features necessary for streaming video content and, where applicable, to creating an account for the Coaching tool.
